Terms of Service

1. Who we are
PlayPair ("PlayPair", "we", "us") is a co-op gaming matchmaking service operated by PlayPair, MB (a mažoji bendrija), company code 308030895, Europos pr. 34-47, Kaunas, Lithuania ("Operator"). Contact: info@playpair.gg.
2. Eligibility — 18+ only
PlayPair is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account or use the service. By using PlayPair you confirm you meet this requirement. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. One account per person. Connecting third-party accounts (e.g. Steam, Discord) is optional and governed by those providers' terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. No harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, illegal activity, spam, scams, cheating-services promotion, impersonation, or attempts to compromise the service. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that breach these rules.
5. User content
You keep ownership of content you submit (profile text, messages, ratings). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the service. You are responsible for what you post and for the accuracy of ratings you leave.
6. Matchmaking and other users
PlayPair helps adults find co-op gaming partners. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee any user. Interactions and any arrangements to play together are between users. Use our block/mute/report tools and never share sensitive personal or financial information with other users.
7. Paid plans
Some features require a paid subscription (currently Pro and Supporter, monthly or yearly). Payments are processed by our reseller / Merchant of Record, Paddle. When you subscribe, Paddle is the seller of record and Paddle's buyer terms also apply. Plan limits are shown on the Plans page. Billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Service changes & availability
We may add, change or remove features and adjust plan limits or prices (changes to your active subscription price take effect at your next renewal). The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without guaranteed uptime.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using PlayPair and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, for legal reasons, or to protect users or the service. Where you have an active paid subscription, termination/refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. If we terminate your account for breach, no refund is due for any remaining paid subscription period, to the maximum extent permitted by law and without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
10. Disclaimers & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayPair is provided without warranties, and the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for user conduct, or for third-party services. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights in the EU. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights in the EU and Lithuania.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania; disputes are subject to the courts of Kaunas, Lithuania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights where you live.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will post the new version with an updated effective date; for material changes we will give reasonable notice. Continued use means you accept them.
