Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 1 July 2026
1. Who handles billing
Paid subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, our reseller / Merchant of Record. Receipts and invoices come from Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply.
2. Subscriptions, renewals & cancellation
Plans (Pro, Supporter) are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Plans → Manage billing, which opens the Paddle customer portal. After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, then does not renew and you return to Free. No cancellation fee.
3. Refunds
- EU/UK right of withdrawal: Consumers in the EU/EEA/UK generally have a 14-day right to withdraw. Because subscriptions give immediate access to digital services, you may be asked to acknowledge that the service begins immediately, which can affect this right for the part already used. By subscribing and gaining immediate access to the service, you acknowledge that performance begins immediately and that, in line with EU consumer law, you may lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for the portion of the service already provided.
- Discretionary refunds: Outside statutory rights, refunds are considered case-by-case (accidental purchase, billing error, or significant service failure), subject to Paddle's refund process.
- How to request: email info@playpair.gg with your account email and the Paddle receipt/transaction ID, or use the contact details on your Paddle receipt.
4. Termination for breach
If we suspend or terminate your account for a breach of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines (for example harassment, hate speech, threats, or other serious misconduct), you are not entitled to a refund of any amount already paid for the remaining period, to the maximum extent permitted by law. This does not affect your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
5. Price changes
If we change a plan's price, the new price applies from your next renewal after notice; cancel before then if you don't agree.
6. Chargebacks
If a payment is reversed or charged back, the related subscription and entitlements may be suspended.
